Many of David's writings reveal beliefs that
were clearly eclectic or "borrowed" from other branches of Christianity. He made
no apologies for this, explaining: "After I got sick of the denomination I was in ... I went around studying them all, trying to find out which I could join and agree with! And I found some good in every single one!" [85] "We've got the best of everything! -- The best of the Catholics and the best of the Protestants!
